WPS Health Solutions has been experiencing issues with our Gateway Express and SFTP processes for sending and receiving EDI transactions. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will provide additional updates as we work toward resolution.
Attention Medicare Submitters
Update: WPS experienced file transfer issues on March 12-14, 2018, to the CMS Virtual Data Center. All J5 and J8 transfers are resolved and claims are in FISS and MCS with the appropriate receipt date.
Attention EDI Users—Maintain Browser Updates
WPS will update the Secure EDI, Medicare EDI Gateway, and Gateway Express on Feb. 1, 2018. Internet browsers have security features which support algorithms, ciphers, and encryption. Trading partners are responsible for keeping their browsers up to date to ensure compatibility with site features and security standards. Failing to maintain your browser could impact your HIPAA security compliance. Per the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services HIPAA Security Rule: A covered entity must implement hardware, software, and/or procedural mechanisms to record and examine access and other activity in information systems that contain or use e-PHI. If you experience connectivity issues, please verify (and update) your browser. It is your responsibility to be compliant with HIPAA rules and regulations. If you fail to prepare, your business and cash flow could be affected.
